Bachelorette in Scottsdale
I have to start off by saying I LOVED my bachelorette party. It is by far one of my favorite weekends with my best friends, and I am so excited to share the details with you. (My bachelorette trip was in March of 2019 for time reference depending on when you are reading this.) First things first, huge shout-out to besties Elizabeth and Higgs who planned an incredible trip. And really just a huge shout-out to my friends for being willing to fly across the country because they all know how much your girl loves to travel.
Since I am a picture girl, those are up first but if you scroll to the bottom of this post, all of the details of the weekend are there!
Thursday Night: A few of us flew in Thursday night so that we could be in Scottsdale first thing Friday morning. Fun side story - my original flight got canceled so I ended up being re-routed through Orlando and put on the same flight as Elizabeth so instead of me flying by myself to the bachelorette weekend, I ended up flying with Elizabeth! It was such a nice surprise! We got in pretty late and headed straight to the hotel for the night. We picked a hotel near the airport for late night convenience and then checked into our airbnb the next day!
Friday: Friday was jam packed. Really the whole weekend was but Friday was maybe my definition of a perfect day. We started out at brunch in downtown Scottsdale at Farm & Craft followed by exploring the area. After a couple of hours, we went and checked into the airbnb and got it decorated and stocked for the weekend while also getting ready for dinner. We headed to Diego Pops where we also watched the Auburn Tigers defeat UNC in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Basketball Tournament (needless to say, my friends and I were HYPE). After a delicious and emotional dinner, we did a sexy chair dance class at Fit 6-7-8. It was a blast - highly recommend if it is the type of activity your friend group would love. And then if that wasn't enough, we headed back to the house and put on our wigs to head back into town for a night at the bars.
Saturday: On Saturday morning, and maybe against our better judgement with how much we had packed into Friday night, we started the day hiking Camelback Mountain. After a couple cute pictures with cacti, we decided it wasn't how we wanted to spend our day and headed to brunch at Hash Kitchen. After brunch, we headed to the W Hotel and had a pool day. After the pool day, we headed back to our airbnb to get ready for my lingerie shower/games and then a night at Maya Nightclub.
Sunday: A few of us grabbed brunch one more time as everyone had flights at different times this day, but basically everyone headed home at this point.
It was one of the most fun weekends I have ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend Scottsdale for your bachelorette trip. There are also so many other things there for activities too - we also considered going to a spa, doing a photoshoot, riding 4-wheelers in the desert, hot air balloon rides, trapeze lessons, and more. I can't wait to go back to Scottsdale and knock a few more of those activities off the list!
